With summer vacations wrapping up, many of us are enjoying these days of sun and heat. Trips to the beach, swimming, family bbqs and outdoor exercise are awesome ways to “bank” these memories of summer. September is a great month in the GTA, and it offers many beautiful days for adventure and new experiences.
One of these opportunities is being held this September 7-9th at the Harbourfront Centre in downtown Toronto. With free admission, the 34th Veg Food Fest held by the TVA is worth checking out whether you are vegetarian or not.
So we plan to take a break from making gift baskets, gift boxes and cookie bouquets in Burlington to enjoy this event.
The 34th Veg Food Fest presented by TVA
The annual Veg Food Fest in Toronto is a great way to celebrate the end to summer and usher in the beautiful Fall weather. Our family has had the chance to attended the veg food festival many times over the years.
We love visiting the food and product booths that are set up at the event. Walking around the Veg Food Fest is a surefire way to be introduced to new foods and beverages that support a plant-based, vegan and vegetarian lifestyle. The annual Toronto Veg Fest, along with the internet and people voting with their wallets have really expanded the options available in Canada.
As we love to cook at home, we have found we regularly use many products introduced to us previously at the Veg Fest. New vegan foods and gluten-free vegan desserts are two things we look forward to trying out.
For more information, please see the Toronto Veg Food Fest web site.
New Vegan Products and Foods
Many of the foods and products featured at the Veg Fest rely on this sort of venue to get their product out and into the minds of the heath conscious and compassionate consumer. Attending these types of events are a great way to support small businesses in Canada that are expanding vegan and vegetarian offerings. Supporting these businesses means that your choices also expand as a vegan or vegetarian consumer, whether it is a vegan product or gift. Especially if the gift is made with gourmet cookies that taste amazing.
